(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Western Equestrian team hosts their annual home show this Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 at the University Teaching and Outreach Center (UTOC) on the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus. Saturday's events will begin at 1 p.m. while Sunday's show will start at 9 a.m.

Participating teams include the University of Minnesota, Crookston, Bethany Lutheran College, Ellsworth Community, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, North Dakota State University, Rochester Community and Technical College, St. Cloud State University, South Dakota State University, the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Golden Eagle Western Coach Nicky Overgaard is excited to showcase her teams' talents at home. "We are excited to have the home field advantage at UMC.  We are coming off of two wins at NDSU and looking forward to continue to improve and finish this semester on a high note at our home show.  The girls have been working hard and are improving at each show.  The outstanding team work we demonstrated at NDSU was commendable and I hope to see this continue for the remainder of the season."
