(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston Baseball player Jordan Triestram (Sr, RHP, Shakopee, Minn.) has been named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Pitcher of the Week for his performance in a 5-1 non-conference victory over the University of Wisconsin-Stout last Thursday at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn.
Triestram threw five innings allowing one unearned run on no hits while striking out seven and walking three as he gained his first victory as a Golden Eagle. UW-Stout's only hit in the game came with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Jordan Triestram is majoring in accounting at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
The Golden Eagles are 2-4 on the season. They depart for Winterhaven, Fla. on Thursday where they will play eight games at the Russ Matt Invitational.
