(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Baseball team's first home games against Upper Iowa University have been pushed back to Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3 due to impending bad weather. The games were originally scheduled for Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2. Both Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) doubleheaders will start at 12 p.m. at the UMC Baseball Field.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 2-19 and NSIC record of 0-8. They are looking to crack back into the win column after dropping a 12-4 non-conference decision at Valley City State University on Tuesday. U of M, Crookston is led by Devin Croal (So, SS, Coon Rapids, Minn.) who is hitting .339 (19-for-56) with eight runs batted in (RBI).
Golden Eagles vs. Upper Iowa University Friday, April 2 12 p.m.
Saturday, April 3 12 p.m.
The Peacocks have an overall record of 4-11 and NSIC record of 1-3. They are led by Tom Longoni who is hitting .367 (18-for-49) with 10 RBI, Lucas Wilsing who is hitting .347 (17-for-49) with 13 RBI and Jordan Nuss who is hitting .341 (15-for-44).
