(Crookston, Minn.) -University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Softball Coach Mitch Bakken announced this morning that the NSIC softball games against Southwest Minnesota State and Minnesota State- Mankato scheduled for Saturday, April 24 and Sunday April, 25 have been moved to a Sunday/Monday series due to potential weather issues. The games will start at noon on Sunday and 2:00 p.m. on Monday depending on the weather.
The Golden Eagle Softball games at Valley City State on Tuesday, April 27 have been cancelled due to the team's late arrival back in Crookston on Monday night.
The team will travel to Minnesota Duluth on Wednesday, April 28 to play the Bulldogs in an NSIC double-header starting at 2:00 p.m. Minnesota, Crookston closes out the 2010 season at home with an exhibition game against Dakota-State Bottineau on Friday, April 30 starting at 3:00 p.m. and NSIC contests on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 against Northern State and Mary. Both double-headers are scheduled to start at noon.
