(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston head women's basketball coach Mike Roysland announced today the signing of Gracie Bruzek to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles during the 2010-11 season.
Bruzek is a 5-4, point guard from Jefferson High School in the Central Lakes Conference. She is a three-time All-Conference selection, two-time Playmaker of the Year recipient and was recognized as an All-State Honorable Mention selection following the 2009-10 season. Bruzek was the 2009-10 assists leader in the state of Minnesota and holds her school's record for most assists in a season (172) and career assists.
"Gracie is a high energy point guard that sees the floor very well," says coach Roysland. "She is a true team player that gets after it on both ends of the court. The enthusiasm that she brings will become contagious to her teammates as well," Roysland adds.
Bruzek is the daughter of Bud and Trish Bruzek. She is undeclared on a major at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston is a NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
All signees are contingent upon admission to the University of Minnesota, Crookston and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
