Jacy Christenson (Shoreview, Minn.) Signs with Golden Eagle Women's Basketball

(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston head women's basketball coach Mike Roysland announced today the signing of Jacy Christenson to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles during the 2010-11 season.
 
Christenson is a 5-9, guard from Mounds View High School in the Suburban East Conference. She is a three-year letterwinner in basketball and an All-Conference Honorable Mention player. She played for North Tartan for three years and the Minnesota Stars for one year. Academically she was a four-year All-Academic athlete.
 
"Jacy is the type of player that leads by example," says coach Roysland. "She is a hard worker and has great court awareness. She has great ability to pass to the post and she can shoot the long range jumper."
 
Christenson is the daughter of Kim and Tod Christenson. She plans to major in natural resources at the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
