(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Golden Eagle Football program announced today that 14 players have signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles during the 2010 season. (At release time)
This is the eighth recruiting class for Coach Stassen and his coaching staff. "The University of Minnesota Crookston Football staff is very pleased with the 2010 signing class," says Head Coach Shannon Stassen. "We have added many quality students to our roster and they are excellent football players as well."
Stassen adds, "We are thankful to the faculty and staff here at the University of Minnesota, Crookston who are so instrumental to the recruiting process. Every student that visits campus goes away feeling impressed by the extra effort our faculty and staff gives to them."

The University of Minnesota, Crookston is a NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
All signees are contingent upon admission to the University of Minnesota, Crookston and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
