(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Mary raced out to 26 point halftime lead and never looked back as the Marauders downed the University of Minnesota, Crookston 67-39 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Men's Basketball action tonight at Lysaker Gymnasium in Crookston, Minn.
The Marauders were led by Jordan Wilhelm who scored 24 points (9-for-19) including going 6-for-10 from three-point range. Eric Erdmann added 15 points (6-for-11) with seven rebounds. Anthony Moody chipped in 11 points (5-for-13) with seven rebounds.
The Golden Eagles were led by Adam Hendricks (Jr, F, Watertown, Minn.) who scored 12 points (5-for-12). Jason Servaty (Jr, G, St. Michael, Minn.) added ten points (4-for-9).
The University of Mary improves to 15-11 and 11-8 in the NSIC. The Golden Eagles fall to 5-21 and 1-18 in the NSIC.
The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team closes out the 2009-2010 season on Saturday, February 27 when they host Minnesota State University Moorhead on senior day and parents' day. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Lysaker Gymnasium.
