Anna Ogaard Named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week in Soccer

ogaard_anna_10.gif(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer player Anna Ogaard (5-8, Sr, GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) has been named Defensive Player of the Week by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).

Ogaard was stellar in net for the Golden Eagles recording ten saves as U of M, Crookston picked up their first win of the 2010 season on Saturday defeating NSIC rival Minnesota State University Moorhead by a 2-1 score. Her ten saves was tied for single most in an NSIC game this past week.

Ogaard has a 2.69 goals against average and a .776 saves percentage. She is a 2007 graduate of Osseo High School and an applied studies major at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. Ogaard is also pursuing a minor in dietetics. She is the daughter of Louise Ogaard.
