Golden Eagles Women's Soccer Team Ties St. Joseph College 0-0 in Double Overtime

ogaard_anna_10.gif(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team opened the 2010 regular season on Thursday night with a 0-0 double overtime tie against St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Ind. The game was called at the 101:13 mark due to lightning after having been delayed nearly 90 minutes at the half due to lightning.

Anna Ogaard (Sr, GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) recorded seven saves for the Golden Eagles.

Both teams have overall records that stand at 0-0-1. U of M, Crookston returns to action on Saturday, September 4 when they face Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. The match begins at 6 p.m. (C.S.T.)
