(Crookston, Minn.)- Augustana College topped the University of Minnesota, Crookston 3-0 today in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Volleyball action at Lysaker Gymnasium in Crookston, Minn. The Vikings won by scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-11.
Jordan Spatenka led Augustana College with 11 kills. Taylor Hrdlichka and Lindsey Petersen added eight kills each. Dani Haley had 32 set assists. Grace Sanders added 21 digs.
Danielle Rueter (So, OH, Burlington, Wis.) led the Golden Eagles with eight kills. Alexandra Skeeter (Fr, OH/S, Milwaukee, Wis.) added seven. Shannon Cologna (Sr, S, Peoria, Ariz.) had 23 set assists.
Augustana College improves to 10-10 overall and 6-5 in the NSIC. U of M, Crookston falls to 0-20 overall and 0-12 in the NSIC.
The Golden Eagles return to NSIC action on Friday, October 22 when they host Minnesota State University Moorhead in their "Dig Pink" match. The match begins at 7 p.m. at Lysaker Gymnasium.
