Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC Donates Recruiting Car to Golden Eagle Athletics

10croxpontmedia.JPG(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston Athletic Director Stephanie Helgeson and Director of Athletic Fundraising Bill Tyrrell announced today that Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC, in conjunction with the "Golden Eagles on Wheels" program will donate a car for Golden Eagle athletic coaches to use during the recruiting season. This type of sponsorship is vital to the overall success of a growing NCAA II athletic program as the vehicles are used by coaches during their peak recruiting seasons and can save the athletic budget up to $5,000 annually.

"The University of Minnesota, Crookston athletic department and the UMC Teambackers would like to once again thank Crookston Pontiac-Buick-GMC for their generosity in contributing a recruiting car to the athletic department to be used by our coaching staff," says Director of Athletic Fundraising Bill Tyrrell. "The continued support of Crookston-Pontiac-Buick-GMC is greatly appreciated by the coaching staff and all the Golden Eagle Athletics programs."
