Golden Eagles Women's Soccer Team to Play Three Matches This Week

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team has a busy week as the Golden Eagles will play three non-conference matches with Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) opponents. U of M, Crookston will face Bemidji State University at home on Tuesday, September 7 at 4 p.m. On Friday, September 10 the Golden Eagles will take on St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn. at 7:30 p.m. U of M, Crookston closes out the week with an 11 a.m. match against Augustana College in St. Cloud, Minn. on Sunday, September 12. Both matches are part of the NSIC Soccer Festival.

The Golden Eagles hold an overall record of 0-1-1 after settling for a 0-0 tie at St. Joseph's College (Ind.) and dropping a 5-0 decision at Indiana Wesleyan University. Anna Ogaard (Sr, GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) is 0-1-1 with a 2.35 goals against average and a .750 saves percentage.

Golden Eagles vs. Bemidji State University Tuesday, September 7  4 p.m.

The Beavers have an overall record of 2-0-0 after defeating the University of North Dakota 3-0 on Saturday and Viterbo University 4-2 on Sunday. They are led by Ashlee Eleffsen and Jessie Voeller who each have scored two goals for four points. Abby Kjonaas is 1-0-0 with a 1.33 goals against average and a .800 saves percentage. Samantha Ross is also 1-0-0 and has a 2.00 goals against average and a .833 saves percentage.

Golden Eagles @ St. Cloud State University Friday, September 10  7:30 p.m.

The Huskies have an overall record of 0-2-0 after dropping 1-0 decisions at Fort Lewis College and Mesa State College this past Saturday and Sunday.

Golden Eagles vs. Augustana College  Sunday, September 12 11 a.m.

The Vikings have an overall record of 0-2-0 after dropping a 1-0 decision to Mesa State College on Saturday and a 1-0 overtime decision to Fort Lewis College on Sunday.
