Indiana Wesleyan University Downs Golden Eagles 5-0 in Women's Soccer

(Crookston, Minn.)- Indiana Wesleyan University opened up a 2-0 lead at the half and went on to defeat the University of Minnesota, Crookston 5-0 tonight in a non-conference women's soccer match in Marion, Ind.

Tori Lee led the Wildcats with two goals while Megan Marshall added four assists. Indiana Wesleyan University outshot the Golden Eagles 13-1.

The Wildcats improve to 3-0-0 on the season while U of M, Crookston falls to 0-1-1.

The Golden Eagles return to action this week with three non-conference matches against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) opponents. U of M, Crookston will host Bemidji State University on Tuesday, September 7 at 4 p.m. They will travel to St. Cloud, Minn. to face St. Cloud State University on Friday, September 10 (7:30 p.m.) and Augustana College on Saturday, September 12 (11 a.m.).
