(Hudson, Wis.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Golf team traveled to Hudson, Wis. for the NSIC Fall Preview at the Troy Burne Golf Course on September 12-13, 2010. The Golden Eagles are tied for fifth with Upper Iowa University after the first day of competition. The team shot a +38 (322) and are 16 shots off the lead held by Minnesota State-Mankato who shot a +22 (306).

Brandon Hanson (Jr, Devils Lake, N.D.) stepped up and led the Golden Eagles on day one. Hanson shot a +8 (79) and is currently tied for 13th place. Nicholas Walters (Sr, Wayzata, Minn.) trails Hanson by one stroke and is currently in 20th place. Jesse Hafdal from St. Cloud State leads the tournament with a -2 (69).

Minnesota, Crookston returns to the course on Monday morning for the final day of the NSIC Fall Preview.
