Golden Eagle Women's Soccer Team Returns Home for Two NSIC Matches

(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team returns home for two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matches on Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26. The Golden Eagles host St. Cloud State University at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Concordia University, St. Paul on Sunday at 1 p.m. Saturday will also be homecoming on the U of M, Crookston campus.

The Golden Eagles will be looking for their first victory of the year after dropping a 3-0 decision to the University of Minnesota Duluth on Saturday and a 5-0 decision to Bemidji State University on Sunday. U of M, Crookston holds an overall record of 0-5-2 and NSIC record of 0-2-0.

Golden Eagles vs. St. Cloud State University  Saturday, September 25  11 a.m.

The Huskies have an overall record of 3-3-0 and NSIC record of 1-1-0 after dropping a 1-0 decision to Minnesota State University on Saturday and defeating Southwest Minnesota State University 2-0 on Sunday. They are led by Alexandra Pafko who has scored three goals for six points. Kenzie Hanzlik has a 0.86 goals against average and a .826 saves percentage. The Huskies defeated the Golden Eagles 3-1 at the NSIC Soccer Festival back on September 10.

Golden Eagles vs. Concordia University, St. Paul  Sunday, September 26  1 p.m.

The Golden Bears have an overall record of 2-3-1 and NSIC record of 1-1-0 after defeating Southwest Minnesota State University  4-1 on Saturday and losing to Minnesota State University 3-1 on Sunday. They are led by Arielle Stimson who has scored six goals with two assists for 14 points. Megan Kurtz has a 1.66 goals against average and a .829 saves percentage.
