(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Women's Soccer team looks to build on the momentum gained from this past weekend's 2-1 victory over Minnesota State University Moorhead when they travel to Minnesota State University on Saturday, October 16 and Southwest Minnesota State University on Sunday, October 17. The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) matches start at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.
U of M, Crookston has an overall record of 1-9-2 and NSIC record of 1-6-0. The Golden Eagles are led by Brittany Taylor (Fr, F, Noblesville, Ind.) who has scored two goals for four points and Jessica Goodrich (Fr, F, Munster, Ind.) who has scored one goal and added two assists for four points. Anna Ogaard (Sr, GK, Maple Grove, Minn.) has a 2.69 goals against average and a .776 saves percentage.

Minnesota State University has an overall record of 7-4-1 and NSIC record of 5-1-1 after defeating Augustana College 2-0 on Friday and Wayne State College 3-0 on Sunday. The Mavericks have won four straight. They are led by Brittany Henry who has scored six goals and added one assist for 13 points. Nicole Dooher has scored four goals and added three assists for eleven points. Chelsey Eley has a 1.52 goals against average and a .745 saves percentage.

The Mustangs have an overall record of 1-7-2 and NSIC record of 0-5-2 after a 1-1 tie at Wayne State College on Friday and a 3-1 loss at Augustana College on Sunday. Kelly Fitzgerald has scored three goals and added one assist for seven points. Maggy Rouse has scored one goal and added three assists for five points. Kendra Olchefske has a 2.56 goals against average a .782 saves percentage.
