
The Golden Eagles as a team set season-highs in defensive digs (80) and solo blocks (4). The team knocked down an impressive 10 service aces but set another season-high in service errors with 16. Amanda Swann (OH, 6-0, So., Rochester, Mich.) and Alyssa Krikke (MH, 6-0, Sr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) were co-offensive leaders with 11 kills each. Krikke finished with a team-high .346 (11K-2E-26TA) attack percentage and led all players with two solo blocks. Shannon Cologna (S, 5-8, Sr., Peoria, Ariz.) set a season-high in assists with 40 on the Golden Eagles 48 total kills. Libero Chelsea Wiesner (DS, 5-8, Fr., Rochester, Minn.) tied a game-high with 20 defensive digs.
Mary was led by Laci Murtha who tallied a game-high 16 kills. Setter Emily Turkowski added five dills and 37 assists and Kendra Hobbs tied Wiesner with 20 defensive digs.
The Golden Eagles are 0-17 overall and 0-9 in NSIC play. Mary advances to 5-13 overall and 1-8 in conference play. Minnesota, Crookston is on the road again on Tuesday, October 12 when they travel to Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. to play the Wolves in a rematch from this weekend. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
