Golden Eagle Men's Basketball Drops Final Exhibition Game to Jamestown College 72-63

The Golden Eagles led by as many as ten points in the first half and outshot Jamestown College 46 percent to 30 percent. However, the Jimmies went on a late run to tie the game 36-36 at the half.

Jamestown College outshot U of M, Crookston 50 percent to 36 percent in the second half and went on to win 72-63.

The Jimmies were led by C.J. Peters who scored 14 points and pulled down four rebounds with five assists. Jacquez Williams scored 14 points. Travis Burley scored 13 points and pulled down six rebounds while Chris Lawrence added 13 points.

Larry Brown (Jr, F, St. Paul, Minn.) scored 15 points and pulled down six rebounds for U of M, Crookston. Jacolby Anderson (Jr, G, Lancaster, Tex.) scored 14 points. Adam Hendricks (Sr, F, Watertown, Minn.) added 13 points.

The Golden Eagles open the 2010-2011 regular season on Monday, November 15 when they travel to Hancock, Mich. to face Finlandia University in non-conference game. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. (C.S.T.).

The University of Minnesota, Crookston is an NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
