(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team opens the 2010-2011 regular season on Monday, November 15 when they travel to Finlandia University for a non-conference game. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. (C.S.T.) in Hancock, Mich.
The Golden Eagles went 1-2 in exhibition play. They were led by Eric Dearden (Sr, G, Riverton, Utah) who averaged 13.3 points per game and Larry Brown, (Jr, F, St. Paul, Minn.) who 12 points and five rebounds per game.

The Lions open their 2010-2011 season with their game against U of M, Crookston. Finlandia University finished the 2009-2010 season with an overall record of 10-13 including a 91-72 loss against the Golden Eagles. The Lions welcome 13 freshmen to the program.
