(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team returns home for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) contests on Friday, January 21 and Saturday, January 22 against St. Cloud State University and Concordia University, St. Paul respectively. Friday's game will tip-off at 8 p.m. while Saturday's game will tip-off at 6 p.m.
The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 6-9 and NSIC record of 2-9. They are fresh off an exciting 73-66 overtime road win over Upper Iowa University last Saturday. Eric Dearden (Sr, G, Riverton, Utah) had an outstanding weekend scoring 51 points including 26 against Upper Iowa. Dearden leads U of M, Crookston averaging 15 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Larry Brown (Jr, F, St. Paul, Minn.) is averaging 11.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Adam Hendricks (Sr, F, Watertown, Minn.) is averaging 10.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while Jacolby Anderson (Sr, G, Lancaster, Tex.) is averaging 10.5 points per game.

The Huskies have an overall record of 8-7 and NSIC record of 7-4 after a 92-88 overtime win over Bemidji State University and a 94-74 victory over the University of Minnesota Duluth. Taylor Witt is averaging 19.3 points and 4.1 points per game. Andrew Bernstetter is averaging 15.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Brett Putz is averaging 13.8 points per game.
Golden Eagles vs. Concordia University, St. Paul Saturday, January 22 6 p.m.
The Golden Bears have an overall record of 10-5 and NSIC record of 7-4 after defeating the University of Minnesota Duluth 77-64 and Bemidji State University 79-73. Peter Olafeso is averaging 16.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Brent Barz is averaging 12.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Courtney Tyler is averaging 12.5 points per game while Kenny Olafeso is averaging 12.4 points and eight rebounds per game.
