Heieie is a 5'6" midfielder. She attends Minnewaska Area High School where she plays soccer for her father Brian. Heieie should feel at home right away as she reunites with her former high school teammate Ashley Sletten. During their time together Heieie and Sletten paired to create a formidable scoring duo.

"Mariah brings a lot of athleticism and skill to our team," says Golden Eagle Head Women's Soccer Coach Richard Jones. "Mariah is a versatile player who I can see being a dynamic impact player at multiple positions during her time at U of M, Crookston."

Heieie is undecided on her major at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She is the daughter of Brian and Lisa Heieie.
