(Crookston, Minn.)- Augustana College jumped out to a 45-32 halftime lead and held on for an 81-68 win in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Men's Basketball action tonight in Crookston, Minn.
The Vikings were led by Cody Schilling who scored 20 points (6-10 from the field) with three assists and three steals. Cameron McCaffrey added 18 points (5-14 from the field) with four rebounds. Trevor Hass scored 16 points (5-8 from the field). Derrick DeZeeuw pulled down 12 rebounds.
The Golden Eagles were led by Larry Brown (Jr, F, St. Paul, Minn.) who scored 21 points (8-9 from the field) off the bench. Jacolby Anderson (Jr, G, Lancaster, Tex.) added 13 points (5-14 from the field) with six rebounds. Adam Hendricks (Sr, F, Watertown, Minn.) scored 11 points (4-6 from the field). Almir Krdzalic (So, G. Sioux Falls, S.D.) added ten points (3-5 from the field).
Augustana College improves to 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the NSIC. U of M, Crookston falls to 4-4 overall and 0-4 in the NSIC.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, December 18 at 6 p.m. when they face Wayne State College in NSIC action.
The University of Minnesota, Crookston is an NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
