(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Men's Basketball team returns home this week for a pair of games at Lysaker Gymnasium. The Golden Eagles host the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) in a non-conference game on Wednesday, December 8 at 8 p.m. and Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) game on Saturday, December 11 at 4 p.m.

The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 3-2 and NSIC record of 0-2 after dropping games at the University of Minnesota Duluth (44-68) and Bemidji State University (63-88) this past Friday and Saturday. They are led by Eric Dearden (Sr, G, Riverton, Utah) who is averaging 14.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Adam Hendricks (Sr, F, Watertown, Minn.) is averaging 14 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Larry Brown (Sr, F, St. Paul, Minn.) is averaging 12.8 points and four rebounds per game.

Golden Eagles vs. College of St. Scholastica  Wednesday, December 8    8 p.m.

The Saints have an overall record of 1-4 and have not played since a 54-88 loss at St. Cloud State University on November 29. CSS is led by Brett Tester who is averaging 13.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, Danny Schmitz who is averaging 11.2 points per game and Derek Anderson who is averaging 10.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Golden Eagles Minnesota State University Moorhead Saturday, December 11   4 p.m.

The Dragons have an overall record of 4-2 and NSIC record of 1-1 after winning at 60-58 Bemidji State University on Friday and dropping a 70-71 game at the University of Minnesota Duluth on Saturday. MSUM is led by Dennis Williamson who is averaging 14.7 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Jake Driscoll is averaging 14 points per game, Tarell Clark is averaging 12.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, Charlie Chapman is averaging 12.3 points per game and Alex Novak is averaging 11.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston is an NCAA Division II Institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The Golden Eagle Equestrian team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).
